Is there a way to edit the services that show up in the search box in Estuary?

Yes you can, you must edit 'Custom_1107_SearchDialog.xml' file.

I'm not finding that file in my userdata folder so I'm guessing any edits I make are going to be wiped out next time the skin updates, right? 

It's not a huge deal, I used the node editor to add a search function in each section, I was just thinking it would be nice to have everything under the "search" button!

It's not in userdata folder, it's in addons/skin.estuary/xml/

Yes, you must editing it on each update.

Bummer, it's too bad that the search box isn't editable by the node editor...
