Hi folks, I'm running estuary skin on RPi3 based on Xbian. After a couple of seconds post startup, my screen dims from bottom as shown in the below picture comparison.

I want to completely turn off this dimming and want kodi to stay active always such as in (a). FYI I have set the screensaver to none. And turned off all power saving. If it helps to know, I'm running a script in autoexec.py that runs a slideshow of pictures and videos. The dimming goes out in video playbacks but is present throughout the pictures. How can I get rid of the dimming?
