Hello
Is it possible to install kodi media player on samsung smart tv (tizen and non tizen models)?

Kodi will only run on smart TVs that run Android.

On some enigma2 forums some know-how-to people managed to make it work on e2 boxes (basicly running on linux) like dreambox and vu so I thought that maybe programmers are able to easily modify kodi and make it installable on samsung smart tv (their OS is based on linux).

Not to my knowledge. TVs running a custom Linux OS will most likely be running it embedded, read only, which would make it very tricky (and dangerous) to mess with I would think. There are many great value for money external devices that you can run Kodi on so i'd go for that.

Short answer regarding Samsung non-Tizen TVs is that they don't support native C/C++ applications, but only web apps, which Kodi is not.

Regarding Tizen, see https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=239194 which could technically support Kodi but have no interested developers.
