Please try to add pictures to streaming via upnp dlna as Emby and plex and even windows internal dlna can do it
videos and music work in stellar way but pictures are missing in all dlna upnp apps 
Please try to add pictures in next releases of Kodi

Not going to happen in the short term as for DLNA there needs to be a database, but for Pictures there is currently no database as there is no Pictures Library function in Kodi, so someone first needs to code and add a Picture Library database system to Kodi even before DLNA can be thought about.
