I'm trying to download 17.5 Kodi Linux version with Chrome or Explorer browser,  but doesn't start. 
Site display message "Download started We hope you enjoy your shiny new copy of Kodi as much as we enjoyed making it!", but download doesn't start.
For other SO work well.

can someone help me?

There is no download for Linux on our website. You need to read the guides and install it from the package manager inside your OS or build it yourself.

we don't provide linux downloads, it's a link to a wiki article on how to install kodi on linux.

the download started message is indeed a bit confusing :-)
