Hi, I jailbroke my Dads iPad 1st gen yesterday with Cydia, but surprisingly the auto-install version was only 15.2? I've done it before on my own 1st gen, but then the 15.2 was new :-)

Can't seem to find any specific mentioning - that the 32 bit 7 year old piece of brilliant hardware can only take a 15.2? Shouldn't it be able to go to 16?

Last version for ios 5.1 with hw decoding is 16.1 http://mirrors.kodi.tv/apt/ios/deb/

Even latest 17.5 should run but without hw decoding. (To be found here: http://mirrors.kodi.tv/releases/darwin/ios/ )

The cydia store is broken since a while we only support sideloading since then
