Solved Fix manually the video frenquency

Hello,

This thread follow the previous one : https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=322897

Here is the context :
* I've got a Samsung Smart TV (UE46F6400);
* I've got an Android TV Box (Freebox Mini 4K with a A15 dual-core processor 1,5GHz with 2Go RAM - http://www.universfreebox.com/article/29...ur-1-5-GHz) connected to my TV using HDMI (port HDMI1); I'm using Kodi App from official Play Store with the Plex for Kodi plugin;

I would like to fix the video frequency to 50Hz (which is kinda the max my TV can handle) to avoid any "low frame rate" effect.
But, in the settings, those settings seems to be disabled.
How can i change it, please ?

Thanks for your help !

Change the Resolution in Android OS to 1080p/50hz or 720p/50hz, whichever you want. This will hold if you have refresh rate switching disabled.

Hello FBX78 and thanks for your answer.
I'll try this ASAP !
I'm not sure to understand the last part of your message "This will hold if you have refresh rate switching disabled.".
You mean that I should put to "off" the "Adjust display refresh rate" settings ? (http://kodi.wiki/view/Settings/Player/Vi...fresh_rate)

Yes leave it Off if you always want 50hz

I've change the Android settings to 1920*1080@50Hz, but Kodi still run as 1920*1080@60Hz :'(.
I've tried to reinstall it, but still the same.

So, the question still be the same too : how can I set the video frequency of Kodi to 50Hz, please ?

For me there's an option in Kodi using Expert Mode... Settings/System/Refresh Rate.

Hello,

The problem still the same... I'm unable to change the frequency of Kodi.
All my stuff (TV and Android TV Box) is running in 50Hz... but Kodi still work in 60Hz (I've tried to uninstall, install it again, but still the same).

Any idea how to fix it and force Kodi to run in 50Hz, please ?

Testing many things I realize that my BluRay disc played using 1920*1080@60p (vs 60i previously) and it works well, fluid.
So 60Hz or 50Hz isn't the problem.
I get back to 60p on my Android TV. Still have framerate problem, but lower.
I get back to the Plex App for Android TV, and it works well now ^^. Dunno what is the difference between Plex App and Plex for Kodi, but there is one...

Anyway, this topic is fixed.
