 i would like to get a history of watched movies in kodi.
possible implementation:
- add new category „history“ as a plugin (copy and adapt from category „filmlist“)
- show title, files.lastPlayed
it looks very easy to implement this if someone knows how to add a plugin.

but i would like to get the knowledge, if someone could tell me where to start.
and maybe something speaks against adding new category?
or there is even an easier way for implementation?

The 'files' table in the video database stores the datetime value for the LastPlayed field.
Do a query with a descending order and you can see the latest watched videos.
