It would be great if we could add individual episodes to a tag. An example that comes to mind is the show Bones. They have a "bad guy" named Pelant who appears in a number of episodes spanning multiple seasons. It would be nice if we decide to watch all of those episodes and not have to search for them.

You could search for the actor playing the Pelant bad guy. That should work as well.
