I use Kodi (17.4) a ton to play music throughout the day. I use Spotify, Tunein and IHeart mostly. I especially like the Artist Slideshow that displays random stills of the artist playing at the time. My only issue is the image sizes can,at times, exceed the screen size. My HTPC is connected to my 65” 4K TV. I have the resolution set to 3840 x 2160. It doesn’t happen with all the images but probably around 25% of the time. Is there a setting for this somewhere?

Hi tjguinn.
Rapier is made for 16:9 aspect: eg. 1280x720, 1920x1080, 3840x2160 resolutions.
Images from Artist Slideshow will scale to fit the screen. That means that 16:9 images will be fully displayed, while other images will be cut at the top/bottom or left/right to fill the screen.
Luckily most fanart images are 16:9, but some are not - and they will be cut.
The alternative is that they either have black to the left/right or top/bottom. OR that I stretch the images.
And both of those alternatives would be even more unsatisfying.
I don't know of any settings affecting this.

Thanks Gade. It’s not a huge thing but just didn’t want to be missing some easy fix.
