Hanewin NFS Server has started to fail - Needs constant restarting
#1
I have no idea why, but recently I have had to restart the NFS Server a few times.

Does anyone have any alternatives?

The simplest solution would be to install Ubuntu desktop/server, install NFS server and reference the drive(s), and carry on working. I've used such a setup for 6-7 years now.

..and I've had Hanewin working for at least 10 years (and it's still working fine at the moment here).

Whilst NFS on Linux IS the obvious solution, it's only obvious if you don't need Windows going for other things, which of course many do.  Hanewin is generally easy, and has been rock solid...it does get updated though, perhaps start there?

Addons I wrote &/or maintain:
OzWeather (Australian BOM weather) | Check Previous Episode | Playback Resumer | Unpause Jumpback | XSqueezeDisplay | (Legacy - XSqueeze & XZen)
Sorry, no help w/out a *full debug log*.
