DTS HD HRA
#1
Hi all

I'm unable to have sound with my receiver with DTS HD HRA all other HD format work fine. I have a chromebox with libreElec. I read on the forum and find that some of you have problem too after receiver update. Have you find a way to make the DTS HD HRA work?  thanks in advance for your help

Got some more info like which receiver you got.
Perhaps a debug log so we can see what's going on when playing a DTS-HD track

@TRaSH
I have a pioneer LX101 receiver.
Here is a log file Log from my amlogic  with libreElec with same problem. In the log file I test with kodi sample "DTS-HD HRA 5.1 (MKV @ 1080p/23.976 VC-1)" => NOK and after another movies with TrueHD Atmos 7.1 => OK, DTS-HD MA 7.1 => OK, DTS-HD HRA 5.1=> NOK

Please post the other Log. Your AML build does not run kodi's AESinkALSA but a specially patched LibreELEC version -> we cannot support that.

so it's my receiver the problem.
Is there a way to force only DTS core output for DTS HD HRA?

 I am not 100% sure as I cannot test HRA myself - I have a fucked up Denon AVR that only does HRA when send with PowerDVD. From the log I see that we open it the way we should open it. Perhaps someone else steps by and tells if HRA is working for him.

 My AVR reports 8 channels input - but only DTS output. It's quite funny how it takes out the "core" from the stream we send. I had a lengthy E-Mail conversation with them (Denon) and they say: bla, bla, the dts detection code is bought from external company, but, but powerdvd ...
