Hello,

I'd like to watch live TV on kodi without heavily complicated configuration, just connecting my DVB card, installing a live TV add-on, and that's all.

The problem is that kodi forces me to use the client server architecture if i want to watch live TV. It has 2 disavantages compared to classic DVB systems:

1) It uses minimum 2 machines at the same time.
2) The configuration is, if not impossible, very difficult, especially for newbies. Personnaly, i never succeeded.

So it would be a good idea to implement a live TV system without the need of a server configuration.

My server with the tuners and the DVBLogic software is my client as well. Logically they're two machines but they reside on one physical machine.
Configuration.... mwoa... manuals enough.

The problem is that i use libreelec, so i can't install any dvb server on it. And i still thinking that this is uselessly complicated, even with the manuals.

Libreelec has tvheadend server and client that run on the same machine.
I believe it is located under program add-ons.

From our point of view it was a case of why reinvent the wheel when excellent live tv software already exists, having everything written by us would a huge support burden so we make use of other projects where we can.
