v17 10bit 1080p hevc

Hi,

Is it possible to play this on a rpi3?
I have installed libreelec 8.2.1 on my rpi3 bit when i start a 10bit 1080p hevc file nothing happends.

I overclocked my rpi3 all other hevc files plays ncely smooth but with these files nothing happends.

No, 10 bit HEVC on RPi requires Kodi 18.

Also, 10 bit HEVC 1080p might be a little out of reach even when overclocking the RPi3, but 10 bit HEVC 720p is working fine with the Kodi 18 test builds.

Allright thanks milhouse then i don’t have too try any more on krypton i’ll try your LE9 testbuilds.

It probably also depends on some additional video properties. On mine moderately overclocked RPi3 10 bits x265 1080p movies (like example info) play very satisfactory, not differently than x264 versions of same movies.
On your latest builds only the CPU temp rises 15-20°C from normal 45-50°C.
