Hi,

I want to adapt the Surveillance Room Add-on which is running on my raspberry pi.

I know the lines to change in the py-Script (is only changing the commands for the camera). Now I zipped the Add-on again and put it from my windows pc with winSCP on the raspberry with LibreELEC.
But I can't install this add-on.

I also tried the same with the original Add-on (unzip, zip, moving with WinSCP-without changing anything) but it doesn't work, too.

So how it the correct way to change / addapt a plugin for my raspberry.

Can I change the py-files directly over WinSCP?

Does't know anybody what's the reason could be? How is your way of programming and debugging python addons for kodi?

have you tried in the add-ons support forum of kodi?
What you are doing sounds straightforward - but without posting errors and/or full debug log I don't see how you can expect help
