So TMM seems like it's one of the better programs.  I just have a few issues - When the program renames files, it doesn't change the metadata.  Can I just add the java script to it and will that do it?  

also - what's anyone's take on the media sets?  Anyway to automate that as well?

we do not touch the content of the media files (not even to correct the meta data) - we only get/write additional data (NFO) and artwork + rename them as the user wishes.
movie sets are kinda deprecated, but lots of people out there use them. Even Kodi suggests to use tags rather than movie sets..
