Yes, but Kodi 18 is translating HDR colors to "SD", colors look good and not washed up anymore.
Till I won't be convinced an assured by the conversion quality and won't have a HDR capable TV and both HTPC, i will stick to the FHD SDR versions for most of the time.
What do you mean by "convinced"? Just test it and compare.
