tmm v3 - ALPHA
Just saw that the problem is not the Java update - it is an update of our updater (just in macos - windows and Linux is fine)

OK found it. But does it only work if i automatically scrape images? I scrape all images manually.
@mlaggner: does that mean a fix is on the way soon-ish?
thank you
@mxlance yes, but unfortunately you need to do one step per hand: edit the tinyMediaManagerOSX.sh script inside the tmm package and remove the string -XstartOnFirstThread
after that you should be able to relaunch tmm

so i looked in tinyMediaManagerOSX.sh script inside the tmm package to remove the string -XstartOnFirstThread but could not find it.

Noticed that () brackets are stripped out of tv show names...

This is the show... https://www.thetvdb.com/series/the-returned-us

The first image is my folder naming. The second image is in TMM v3 (2018-10-16). Is this correct? It does not strip the () brackets when the year is included.

I have also noticed that for TV Shows, the images for main actors/regular cast are not downloaded.

Brackets are always stripped on initial import (even in v2), since this is our definition of a delimiter, when assembling the title from filename.
When finding a year, we just visually append the brackets with year in the GUI...
On scrape, the title for sure can have brackets again...

In the logfile, for what show should a search for?
And what scraper have you used?

The show is Californication. I think it is the only one I scraped in that log.

The scraper is set to TheMovieDB for TV Shows.

Re the brackets. I had never noticed that, so no problems if it is expected. Thought it may have been a little bug. Smile

Really appreciate your hard work!
I have two suggestions regarding the layout of Details tab.
- I'd like to see a lot bigger fanart like v2. That tiny fanart of v3 completely removes the visual appeal of the program for me, makes it look like an database editor and no longer feels like a movie organizer.
- I'd like to see a key information of movie at the header of Details tab without having to navigate to all other tabs. That would include title, year, genre, rating, runtime, country, certification, director/writer's name, first three cast members' name. I see some of them here and there in Details tab, but if there's such a brief summary of a movie it would be a lot easier to make sense of a movie while browsing entries in the collection.

And it no longer shows video resolution icons (like HD 720, 1080, etc). Are you gonna add it?
