I'm having some problem with the kodi installed into my Xiaomi MiBox. 
Due to the space constrains on MiBox it only have a measly 2GB internal storage, I had to move my kodi data files to my USB flashdrive.

Everything works fine I can launch Kodi and all the cache are stored in USB flash drive. Now I'm having trouble updating all my addons in kodi.
I check on the log and found countless errors stating FAILED TO MOVE OLD ADDONS FILE. Can someone please shed some light ?

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file.

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.
