Ever since I installed creators edition, I've been unable to play video with Kodi - Kodi crashes on playback start. I suspected the video drivers, so I removed drivers and did a full AMD Radeon cleanup using AMD's tool before reinstalling. I've also done a clean install of kodi, uninstalling and removing the data in appdata/roaming/kodi. I literally have no idea what to try next. The same test files play back fine on VLC. Looks like you're running 17.4 when 17.5 is available, but I would suggest given the posted log, you consider a http://kodi.wiki/view/Windows_FAQ#Portable mode version of Leia 64bit.

Looks like you make it to the splash screen, mostly all of Kodi is up at that point and then a scanning takes place that includes download archives, and it's likely here we have introduced an issue and along with a few other things, suggest a clean install might have better success.
