Been using kodi on orginal firestick for a few years no problem. But about a month or two ago the videos I play from a local NAS will play for a while the the video stops but sound and subtitles continue the video will start again. It will do thes every 10 to 15 minutes or so. I have reinstalled kodi all 17.x versions but the problem keeps happing. I thought the firestick was underpowered and not able to keep up. So I bought a new firestick 2 and blocked updates from my router. Installed kodi and it still does it. Googled it and disabled a surface codec and tried all the stuff I could. Tried different network share to rule out network. Videos played fine with VLC so it's not a hardware or network. I have orginal firestick with latest OS and kodi 17.6. Also firestick 2 with shipped OS kodi 17.6

Any idea on what is wrong. Worked fine 2-3 months ago and then just started.
