control LibreELEC from another computer or device
#1
Hi
I wonder if that is possible somehow with API or something control a raspberry Pi that have LibreELEC installed.
I like to create a software remote control over my wifi so I can easy tell it to go to movie or play something.
Maybe something easy to start with like arrow up/down/left/right, Enter, Esc and that.

I know it have a web interface but like to build a app or software for computer or device to easy navigate and use LibreELEC on a raspberry pi.
Use now: Plex
Testing: Kodi
Running: Xiaomi Mi Box S 4K

Kodi can be controlled by the JSON-RPC_API (wiki)

I take you are aware that there are loads of existing apps on every OS for controlling Kodi over your network, for example the Kore app on Android.

Hi and thanks for the replay
hmm I did look at JSON-RPC API but not sure how it works, just simple as navigate thru Kodi but feel that I going to read a little more about it.

Well yes I know it is alot of apps and that but I was curious if I can easy make my own, do not need to be advance and I have work with Python and some other programming language before
so it was just a idea to try my own remote control that maybe even control the room that I have kodi

/UPDATE
Thanks
