My nfs setup seems to have the wrong syntax. (NO LONGER REQUIRED)

Hi all, 

Any help appreciated i'll link you to my initial thread regarding NFS for use with the XBOX one X UWP. 

Havent used nfs for a long while but i thought it was still available, anyhelp super appreciated.

What help do you need? 
  • From that thread, it looks like you no longer use NFS
  • From this thread title, it seems you no longer need help

Replace the * - Use something like that:

Quote:/mnt/raid/music  192.168.178.0/24(ro,async,no_subtree_check,insecure)

and make it read only as long as you are testing. Also make sure the nfs server picks it up.

You can use showmounts from a sane OS to see if it's there:
Quote:fritsch@t440s:~$ showmount --exports jabba
Export list for jabba:
/mnt/raid/pictures      192.168.178.0/24
/mnt/data/movies      192.168.178.0/24
/mnt/raid/music       192.168.178.0/2
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Yeah thanks guys i changed the title as ssh is working on xbox and i dont use nfs for anything else anymore.
