I have an Android based video box that includes KODI and I have attached it to my Smart TV via HDMI and have added a external hard drive that contains my purchased movies on it. Everything works fine except for one thing. I can't get any of the movie data scrapers like The Movie Database one to display the movie info or to allow me to sort the movies by genre etc. All I am getting is an alphabetical list of my movies. 

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I've searched the wiki and have corrected my movies so it displays the titles properly but beyond that, I'm clueless despite searching all over the wiki. Would greatly appreciate any help I could get.

Can you do the following...

1. Ensure you are using the correct scraper version
TMDB 5.0.3 (found in Add-ons>My add-ons>Information provders>Movie information)

2. Ensure your movies are correctly named... http://kodi.wiki/view/Naming_video_files

3. Ensure you have added a Source and correctly set Source Settings... http://kodi.wiki/view/Quick_start_guide

4. You have performed an Update Library from the sideblade menu... http://kodi.wiki/view/Home_screen_and_ba...blade_Menu

Let us know if any of those fix it.

Thanks.. that fixed it. Since I could see and access my hard drive from the outset and could play movies on it.. I had no idea I still had to set up a video source. Working fine now.
