XBMC Lyrics - Help with "Lyrics Not Found"
#1
Hello - I am using the most recent T3CH build (4/20) and the XBMC Lyrics that came with that (I believe 1.58) and I continue to receive the message "Lyrics Not Found" for every song I click on. I have confirmed that the lyrics do exist on LyricWiki.org, but for some reason they are not returning to the script. I can confirm that an internet connection exists because when I click on the script while a song is playing the script displays all of the songs by that Artist that exist within LyricWiki. When I click on the song that I want (i.e. the one that is playing) it returns "Lyrics Not Found".

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Sure. Can you recommend a site where I can upload it to?

Also, one other thing to add to this. The script used to go right to the lyrics display without prompting me to select the name of the song (assuming the song matched within lyricwiki.org). It now seems to force me to select the song title from a list 100% of the time.

Thanks again.

I have another problem with the Lyrics, but I dunno if it's the script or the T3CH-release that's wrong. And since I have an old release (january) that works flawlessly in everything else, I'm a bit reluctant to upgrade the XBMC (feels that every time I upgrade there's just more new flaws or things that goes wrong).

My problem is that it lists lyrics, but I can't choose the right pages when the lyrics show. For example the lyrics often start fine with page 1/3, but when I try to change to page 2/3 it either won't work or it jumps to 3/3. Or it starts at 2/3 and jumps to 1/3 when I choose next page. And so on..

Will try to update to a recent T3CH build later, but it would be nice to hear if someone else has experienced this, or if there's any idea if it's really an issue with the script. Haven't found any more recent release of the script, but maybe I'm mistaken. When I try "update XBMC Lyrics" from the script it says that my version is the latest.

Quote:[XBMC Lyrics]
- changed: version -> 1.5.9
- fixed: LyricWiki scraper. Site change.

You can get it from svn: https://xbmc-scripting.googlecode.com/sv...C%20Lyrics

The site changed, so no lyrics could be found. should fix selecting a song from a list now also if you do get a list.

About the scrolling this only happens when smooth scrolling is enabled and i hold the remotes select button on the spinner? Same for you? If so it must be a XBMC issue. I'll bring it up to a developer.

Hi there.
I must say that Thisis the most used Script. Smile
I'm using v1.5.8 of XBMC lyrics.

The system does not find my song's lyrics, despite that it is there on the site (http://www.seeklyrics.com/lyrics/Foo-Fig...Still.html)

ID v1 Tags are correctly there. With this song I get a huge list where the album can be found, but by selecting it, nothing is found though. Smile
