Hi, New kodi user here. I want to create a widget for a specific media source (IE: sports) rather than every movie in the movie library showing up I just want sports events on it.

Is this possible?

Smart Playlists should be able to constrain to a single source/drive/path then you can  either add a recently added filter or call a reecently added playlist within the first. Smart playlists (wiki)

Smart playlists seem to work great, but I am having one problem. Each time I create a new smart playlist it messes up the order on the widgets....

So Widget 1>Smart Playlist5 will become Widget 1>Smart Playlist6 even though I didn't change it.

Any ideas?

Not much, these widgets are something I don't run into, in the skin I'm using, and this is likely an issue handled by the skin and would be best addressed by the Skinner in the skin thread.
