Assigning my remote button 2 in the Addon gives the same key-ID as if i used the number on the keyboard. So i guess it send skeystrokes.

Since i hate logs i reseted the flirc config, deleted the keyboard.xml and chose reset to default in the keymap addon.

Then i went into the addon and just configurated the virtual keyboard assigns on the top menu.
That brought me the desired SMS result in the virtual keyboards all over the menus. Yay
A bit frustrating not to know where the error was, but well..

Just chosing Letters directly in Libraries still wont work.

Yes, unfortunately Keymap editor doesn't have the jumpsms actions on its global section.
But since you have the key codes you can easily modify yourself to accomplish this, see previous configurations here on this thread and replace the key codes under the <global> tag with your key codes (the ones that KE set for virtualkeyboard).
