Alexa Video Skill integration of Kodi.
This differs from other Kodi Alexa Skill implementation in that you don't have to utter invocation name. You can simply say "Alexa, play Ironman"
It is also easier to get it up and running, as it doesn't require to have any servers running, and is as easy, as installing the Addon on your Kodi instance.

Hi Tomas, I'm trying to setup this skill , got already the Arn for the lambda function, but when I go back to kodiconnect.kislan to create the Alexa skill with the copied ARN I receive a message error after a few seconds ({"error":"Skill creation failed"}). I have reviewed a few times all necessary steps and I can't figure what is wrong. Maybe you can figure out what is causing this message. My device in the kodiconnect is displayed as connected, and the secret displayed is added to the Addon on Kodi application. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

I know this has been asked before but the last time it was brought up was over a year ago. Can this skill be used to control the music library? Not sure if Amazon have opened up their API for this yet?

Can you control more than one Kodi device?  Meaning devices in different rooms on different Alexa's

Same error here, even though Kodi Connect shows "Yes" under "Connected". I tried in Chrome (I use the new Edge these days), saw a bit more detail in the error message:

I followed the directions to the letter. It shows connected on the Kodi Connect page and is linked to the proper Echo device, but when I say something as simple as "Alexa, pause" she says "Sorry. I don't know that". She says this for eeeeeeverything. I've been through everything I can think of, but nothing seems to be working. Anyone had this issue and have an idea of what could be going on??  Even a lead would be much appreciated.

have tried complete reinstall but no joy and Alexa just sends me back to the above log in page.
Shame he couldn't of at least tried to hand it over to somebody as this was a great app.

I also had the "Vendor ID not found" error, turned out that I had not completely configured my Amazon Developer account, causing it to not be enabled. Once I went back and finished configuration (mainly entering country/adress) the problem was fixed.
