I have recently ripped some of my DVD collections to my Mac (MP4 files) etc to play via Kodi (on Firestick)
I have setup file sharing on the mac (Sharing the folder where the movies are stored)
Then using Kodi Krypton on a firestick on a TV in a different room I am trying to play the movies stored on the Mac. 
Add movies>Browse>Windows network(SMB)>Choose my Mac - I get the message 'Error Operation not permitted 

Any help much appreciated.
