its installed to

"C:\Ember Media Manager BETA\Ember Media Manager.exe"

 Then use the original command that was given to you, that should work.  If not, make sure you remove any unscraped movies in ember before running the command.

sorry just tested removing a movie from disk.

running "C:\Ember Media Manager BETA\Ember Media Manager.exe" -updatemovies -scrapemovies newauto all
on the NAS, doesnt make the change.

only update manually does.

No, not really. But a movie is only "new" after a database update. Each databse update removes all "new" flags from already existing movies and tv shows/episodes.
