Using my Firestick I have Subtitles launching immediately a film starts. Unfortunately I cannot remember how I achieved this.
I have installed Kodi on a laptop and would like the same. I have configured the app to show subs and have entered my username and password from previous registration and all works well
Just need the auto launch if anyone can help - please

In the same menu 'enable submenus', you should have the option to 'set as default for all videos'; and if they're is subs available, they will play. If you require downloading of subs, that would be a thrid party add-on and would be dependant on the add-on, see https://forum.kodi.tv/forumdisplay.php?fid=143

I don't see this as a windows issue, moving to the subtitle forum.
