Hello All,
I recently bought a Sony KD-55XE9005 TV. It's running Android 7.
I have installed Kodi 17.6 and it's running 4K movies very smooth. The only problem is that it does not Passthrouch surround Audio (DTS/DD) thru HDMI ARC to my Denon receiver.
It does do DTS/DD passthrough with the build in Google Video App but this app will not play a 4K movie smoothly.
It seems only the Default Apps can Passthrough surround audio thru ARC. (optical out does not passthrough surround audio in any situation)
In Kodi the audio is fixed to; Android Audio - I can activate audio passthrough but this is not changing anything.
Does Anybody found a solution to get additional apps to play audio thru ARC in DTS/DD.
