Hello
For long time I used Kodi on Adroid TV for playing movies and now I am evaluating it for playing high resolution music.
I have a Teac USB DAC capable of 384 kHz \ 24 bit.
I installed Kodi on a Windows 10 laptop and whenever I play 384 kHz... the DAC display it is decoding 192 kHz.
I had a look at audio settings in Kodi and I see a limit in the sampling rate: 192 kHz, so I suppose here is the problem, but unfortunately 192 kHz is the maximum I can see here... there is no 384 kHz.
To double check, I installed in the same PC JRiver Media Center... well with JRiver I can choose ASIO or WASAPI while with Kodi just WASAPI, but in any case, using WASAPI on both JRiver and Kodi has different behaviour.
With JRiver if I play 384 kHz FLAC files... the USB displays corectly 384, but with Kodi is is limited to 192.
Again... same PC, same drivers...
Why?
