I have amended the file ViewsMusicLibrary.xml so that when you have a playlist the artwork is shown for the currently playing item, unless you are actually focused on an item in the list when the artwork for that item is shown as normal
the amendement has been done for the V18 version of confluence
I dont know enough about skinning to say if this is the best way to do it, but it does work for me, and is something I have wanted for a long time.
I created my own copy of Confluence and amended the file in that copy, so that any subsequent updates do not overwrite my amendments
I have commented out the bits on ratings as I dont use them and needed the screen space for other info such as Disc number and comments
I would be keen if some of these amendments could be incorporated into the real confluence code, if anyone else is interested
