Doesn't affect recordings.  And it comes and goes in live tv.   This is on comcast with most recordings coming in as h.264 (AVC) from hdhomerun prime tuners.   v17 on shield and libreelec has no issue.   v18 on nvidia shield and windows 10 has no issues.

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file.

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.

Just noticed I now have alpha 2 on my xb1 and the audio distortion appears to be gone.   Guess it was fixed.   Cool!
