Solved Adding watched status tick to folder if all files within have been watched.
#1
Hi.

It used to be the case that when I had watched all the video files within a folder (so they all had a tick to show that they had been fully watched), the parent folder itself would show a tick.

However, this has stopped happening.

I cannot seem to find the setting to get this back.

Any help, finding it, would be much appreciated.

Still works fine here.

Not quite sure what happened above, but you can see that the folder called Access contains a single video file that is ticked but the parent folder is not.

Cannot understand why - any ideas?

In case it is relevant, I am syncing via MySQL and running Kodi 17 on all my devices.

Did a bit more testing and I have realised that I cannot delete any files via Kodi either - it must be a permission issue.

Sorted the permission problem, so files can be deleted.

Still no watched status on the parent folder.

Am completely out of ideas now - any suggestions?

Sorted now - turns out that the watched status, for folders, is available in video mode only (i.e. not in file mode).
