That's why I like the russian forum 4pda system where the top post on any page of a thread is the 1st post of the thread.

You can do that with Woltlab forum and some plugin, too; would not have helped here, though, because the first post does not state clearly what to find behind the links. On top of that Mediafire for me does not show any or all of the contents in my default  browser (Chrome)
