TLDR: How can I allow home guests remote control via android/IOS without letting them change settings etc.
Long version - I know allowing access to remote controls is wide open. My goal is to allow guests on my guest wifi to add my TVs to their phone remote app to only control directional pad, volume, play/stop etc.
If this means proxying all rpc requests to only allow certain commands that's fine, but I can't figure out what to allow. Anybody done this?
In other words, if I have AirBnB guests, I want to allow them to play music, movies, but not change my settings?
