I use "recently added" for both movies and shows every day. When I get a new version of a previously viewed movie I will use the refresh option on the unwatched movies to sort them back to the front of the "recently added" list ( I had to made the advancedsettings file with <dateadded>0</dateadded> in order to preserve this behavior quite some time ago )
Last week, with no changes by me, the recently added movies will no longer resort movies with the refresh function. It still works on shows, just not movies. I tried with other skins and I updated 17.3 to 17.6 to make sure that wasn't the problem. Even removing the movie from the kodi library won't change the order. It just puts the movies in order that they were added to the harddrive.
Any suggestions?
