Bad Out-Of-Sync After Update
#1
Howdy.  I just upgraded from Gotham to the current Krypton release, following the recommended steps per the wiki.  I also un-installed and then downloaded / fresh install ServerWMC just to be as clean as possible.  I am using the OSMC skin if that matters.

Now I have a couple of issues:

1 - When rebooting, ServerWMC and Kodi launch with windows.  Under Gotham I'd get the annoying message until ServerWMC had reached the point that pvr.wmc can connect to it, but now I get a message saying the PVR WMC client addon could not be loaded.  Currently resolving by closing and restarting Kodi.

2 - Baaaad OOS with Live TV - starts out tight when launching or changing channels, but within minutes the audio and video start to diverge and the gap grows over time.  This doesn't happen with the remote RaspPi OSMC clients pulling TV from the same ServerWMC.

I've uploaded the following logs (sorry for so many but the source log was huge).  Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Do you know if the channels that go out of sync are h.264 encoded?  I know the info is somewhere in those logs but I can't get myself to go through them this morning.  On the logs its best if you restart swmc, demonstrate the problem, then just post the most recent log.

Welp, channels we viewed last night are HD but according to the Cox website they are not h.264/MPEG4 -- those are primarily extra-fee HBO channels.  Unless of course their channel guide is wrong.

FWIW the Ceton/ServerWMC solution was swell prior to the Gotham-Krypton upgrade over the weekend.

On the debug tab of swmc temporarily off 'delete temporary stream files'.  Then play the channel that goes out of sync.  In the tempswmc folder in your recorded tv folder there will be a ts file (the file you were viewing).  Pay that file directly with kodi and see if it goes out of sync.  If you find that it does, play it with some other player like vlc and see if it goes out of sync there.

Interesting.  I followed your guidance and the recorded stream did not go OOS, but granted I used the scroll bar to skip ahead.  Also, some channels don't seem to go OOS and then some are worse than others -- thinking back to my programmer days, that intermittent nature sucks.

I posted additional log files (sorry):

Thank you very much!

** EDIT - Also, ServerWMC v1244 cannot connect for updates?

Quick update:

It looks like OOS is happening on Live TV for all channels, it appears some go OOS quicker and diverge more than others.

Interestingly, it's back in sync after pausing but then starts going OOS again.

*EDIT: Also, whereas when rebooting the PC my Gotham installation would autostart and display error messages until it could connect to ServerWMC which also autostarted at boot -- now Krypton says "PVR WMC Client - Add-on could not be loaded.  An unknown error has occurred".  Restarting Kodi after a few minutes fixes this -- related?

Weird and thanks for any help!

What version of pvr.wmc is it running?  Its a version problem that usually causes it not to load.

1.4.9 with no updates available.

More fun -- I updated the drivers for my display adapter, and now Live TV causes Kodi to crash -- but playing recorded tv is fine.

Will post log in a minute.

EDIT: See attached logs for both Kodi and ServerWMC.  I really appreciate any assistance or guidance -- I'd rather not downgrade back to Gotham.
