I'don know, really. I have less powerfull hw than yours. May be some GPU power save mode is enabled on your system.
No, that is disabled on my R9 270 2gb Gaming card. I overclocked the CPU and Memory via Afterburner and confirm that it is working at those speeds

Thanks for taking a look. I'm running into this issue with NVidia GT 1080 and 1030 cards ony. I've tried going as far back as release 387.92 of the driver with the same results. Any advice on how I should continue troubleshooting this?

Im experiencing the same issue on a different machine running Kodi in my home. It is using the Intel Graphics processor (I5-6400T) and windows 10 64-bit. If I turn off DXVA2 in settings, the audio sync issue disappears.

How can we debug this playback issue? The debug log I previously provided did not give any insights. I never had this problem on either machine with Kodi v17.

Appreciate any insights

This issue seams fixed for 1080p and 720p Mkv files and TV streams from my Ceton 6 tuner card via ServerWMC for the May 27th nightly! Thank you so much for resolving this bug, devs! I am running with DXVA2 on via my R9 270 graphics, windows 7 x64 HTPC.
