With this change you kill the music visualization.
I'll look for a better solution for artist slideshow.

You suggest: testing if Artistslideshow is installed ?
musicvisualisation work fine with me ( Artistslideshow is present)
I changed because clearlogo works bad with skinhelperservices.

Musicvisualisation plays perfect. ( fast test)
But Clearlogo like before ( not perfect)

Please consider using local clearlogo before skinhelper' ressource : faster and more stable.
For some artist skinhelper don't find anything.

The clearlogo will not be a problem.
I still build a switch for Clearart (if available) with fallback on Clearlogo.

But : $VAR [VideoPlayerClearArt] does not work optimally.
I think I didn't explain well.

About clearart :
I would prefer the separate clearart as it won't please everyone.
I'll give it a try by linking it to DisableNowPlayingClearArt… => see modded xml

About Clearlogo :
Player.Art(artist.clearlogo) takes 1 second to load.
It takes what is stored and configured in the local database. 
It's reliable and it works every time, except for compilations(various artists) where the artist has not been saved in the database.

SkinHelper.Player.Art.ClearLogo takes much longer: between 15 and 120 seconds
This is the web clearlogo set by default and no longer the one I chose locally
For artists who don't have the clearlogo in fanart.tv (or moviedb), it doesn't display anything.


My idea:
First: display the local clearlogo.
If empty: use the clearlogo from the skinhelper..

(same for cdart: SHS works very badly for some CDs, I haven't found where it's programmed yet )

Would you like to look at your musivisualisation modded with my ideas? (probably we can program better) :  skin.titan.mod.beta.matrixV2

Clearlogo or Clearart is now loaded immediately in the music player.
Switch for Clearlogo or Clearart is installed.

Am late to the Titan matrix party here , I must be missing something. Using Fuch's repo and beta skin, plus have Marcel repo installed and skin helper service and skin widget helper installed. I get a black screen when selecting skin settings. Looking in 1080i folder I can see script.skinshortcuts.xml ?
Windows 10 on PC with matrix 19.4

If all dependencies are installed correctly, it should work.
Otherwise uninstall Titan and install it again.

Hello.

Here is a new project of musicvisualization (extended).
The idea:
Instead of fanart: display clearart (if exixt) otherwise display the clearlogo (but biggest)
otherwise the fanart 
I wonder what to link it to, maybe Skin.HasSetting(preferclearartoverlandscape)
1er project (just for testing , need probably a better programming) : (IncludesDialogMusicInfo.xml)

Note :  Here is a modified globalbackground for fanart and extrafanart without skinhelperservice.  (IncludesBackgroundBuilding.xml)
