This add on and the website was illegal anyway, why do you think that they were closed for? If you want to watch ITV, then turn on your TV if you own a TV license that is, if you are not in the UK, then it is region locked. I am surprised that this is not in the illegal addon wiki.
If you are in the UK, the TV license people knew about this site, so if you was claiming to not watch live TV, they would see a computer and ask you about TV catch up.
You could go into the legalities of this website and also this add on, but the powers that be declared that the site was illegal, hence being shut down, it would also form a back bone for the add ons that are not allowed to be mentioned.
A totally grey area to say the least.

This is 100% incorrect; they legally source BBC live feeds. Their service did not shut down they simply changed names and moved domains to Transponder.TV
