Lately have been experiencing very long (10+ minute) server startup times, and now am seeing errors in the log files.  Is something mis-configured in my sWMC setup:

Have you tried simply rebooting your wmc machine?

Hey Krusty - I'm chuckling to myself - yes, I've rebooted the server many times.  Each one of the logs I pasted is from a reboot.

It literally takes sWMC about 15 minutes from the splash screen to get to the main screen.  I have about 200 or so channels in the WMC config - most of course I never use.  The tuners are Silicon dust over hardwired ethernet.

Is there anything in the logs that might indicate why it's taking so long to startup?

I don't see anything in the logs.  However, occasionally I see on my dev computer (in which kodi has a rough life) very long start up times.  I can usually get rid of it by clearing the kodi tv and epg database.  Have you tried that?
