Win can only connect to kodi with http://192.168.1.246/#remote instead of port

Frist forgive if this is not the correct forum, its more networking.

I recently reinstalled kodi on a raspberryPi 3. Usually, with Yatse remote which can search for active kodi devices. However, this time i can see the IP but i cannot access it with Yatse remote. Also, when accessing it from my desktop it doesnt have the usually "192.168.1.246:8080" but instead shows http://192.168.1.246/#remote

I'm able to install repository's and it works fine. I'm unable to use the "play to kodi" chrome extension as well since it looks like it Unable to connect to Kodi  It used to work before with the same ip/port.

I check the port settings on kodi and its saying its 8080. What am i missing? Should i try not use the windows installer and use android maybe? Thanks in advanced for anyone's help.

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

The instructions are here... debug log (wiki)

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file.

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.

Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs
Do NOT post your logs directly into the forum. Always use a paste site like pastebin.com. Post the link to your pasted log in the forum
