Trying to install 17.6 Krypton to a Windows 7 machine. I'm getting the error to install update (KB2670838). Downloaded the update from Windows, but it says it's already installed. Kodi does not agree. Anyway to bypass this?

 Yes. I tried to install it from that exact page.

And thanx for the thread link. For those who don't wish to slog through dozens of pages though, I found my solution on page 21, post #301.
