Should Kodi 17.6 work on windows 7 with 750 GB HDD

There are no obvious technical limitations why Kodi should not work with Win7 + a large HDD.

but I cant get addons to work

From experience, when new users on this forum start to mention non-working addons, it tends to involve illegal banned addons (wiki) very quickly. So I hope you have taken the time to read and understand our forum rules (wiki), especially the part that mentions Kodi's stance and policy on piracy. For those type of add-ons, there will be no support whatsoever on this forum.

If you are convinced that this is not the case, please provide a full debug log (wiki) file, so we can perhaps find the problem at hand.
