Because of bad experience with Sony Android TV and Kodi i want to change to a Samsung TV (55MU8009) and to use a Nvidia Shield TV 2017 for Kodi. But before buying new stuff i have some questions. I read a lot problems with 24p (23,976) playback. I hope some of you can answer my questions.

1.  24p (23,976) Playback
Is it possible to get HDMI output in proper refresh rate 1:1? I want to connect the Nvidia shield to the Sony AVR and then to the TV.

2. Own recordings playback
Is a smoothly playback possible of the following to formats? Or are there any not supported licence issues?

Is it possible to have DTS and DD passthroug without any transcoding?

4. Auto switching between different refresh rates
Is it possible to use one setting in Kodi to have refresh rate switching between 24p, 25i and 50p? I do not want to use different setting for movies and recordings.
