Current problem is that some addons mainly in the video section only work in certain regions of the world. So, when going though the list of all video addons not all will work so you may have to install to test out.
Possible solution would be to add a region section in the addon.xml to identify if the addon only works in a certain region. If it has a region set that does not match the region set in the kodi settings that addon should be automatically filtered out. This will produce a list of addons that will work in your region.
A setting could be add under the addon setting to disable filtering by region for the people that want to see all possible addons.
Also under the regional settings for units there is a US(12h) and US(24H) but no Canada(24h) only a 12h clock version there are a lot of people that use the 24h clock in Canada. There is an option to change from 12h to 24h just below that in expert mode but if there is an option for other countries why not for all. My opion for this would be to remove all 12h 24h from that list and have a setting below with that option on basic settings.
