Hi guys
I built a new AMD Raven Ridge machine with Windows 10, and it's bugging me in all kinds of small matters.
One problem I have is this:
I have set DXVA2 to On.
When I watch PVR, some channels are garbled and I get many glitches. My tvheadend has channels from my Digital Devices satellite card, and from my HDHomerun. All sat channels are OK, all HDHomerun channels give me glitches. So I guess my AMD driver somehow doesn't like the HDHomerun streams.
My CPU has enough ponies to show the SD and HD channels, so I don't need acceleration for that. But I would like acceleration for high bitrate HD and UHD blurays.
My question is: Can I tell Kodi to use CPU decoding only for PVR, and DXVA for all other videos?
I went through the advancedsettings.xml wiki, but I cannot find it. But it must be possible somehow, right?
